Please join us for our 3rd annual "Cars and No Coughing!" event, Saturday July 9th starting at 1pm and ending whenever it ends. Dish to pass and your favorite beverage if you want something special to drink. There is about 250' of dirt road to get to the house, but it's usually hard packed and as long as it isn't raining won't get your car dirty. Your grocery getter is fine also. Event, is rain or shine and there is plenty of space to sit inside or out.

Gilmore Car show is a combination of outdoor car displays of the attendees and indoor museum displays of all types of cars through the ages, covering 90 acres.

We drive there as a group, park as a group on the grounds amongst the various museums. Bring your chairs, cooler if you like. There are shade trees but you might want an umbrella.

Walk around and see all the other cars, visit the many museums, enjoy food available on-site. Pets are allowed outside but not in the buildings.

Everything Downtown Frankenmuth has to offer is not far, and can walk or drive.

Following route 555 out of Zanesville, OH (East of Colombus) to the Parkersburg, West Virginia area. Overnight in Parkersburg area (Vienna). The 555 is often referred to as Ohio's Tail of the Dragon. At the end of the run on Saturday we will be stopping at a shop Bill found. Should be interesting for everyone. Sunday we will head home. There are several routes home which we will discuss Saturday night. The group may want to split up for the return. Some may want to run the 555 northbound and some may opt for route 50 to Columbus.
We will be staying at the Wingate by Wyndham/Parkersburg, 1502 Grand Central Avenue, Vienna, WV 26105. Phone 304-295-5501. All rooms are 2 queens and our rate is $89 plus taxes (normally $114). Please make your reservation by the end of August. Be sure to ask for the room reserved for "Huron Valley Corvette Club." I have 10 rooms blocked and we can get more if necessary. Cut off date is September 1.
