Hello All, a few pics of the NCM track event.
Screen shots of the Performance Data Recorder video in the car I was driving showing my 125 MPH blast on the main straight, hard braking at 1 G, and one of many corners taken at 1 G chasing the Track Instructor in the C6Z06.
When this Covid19 situation stabilizes and we are able to have a full membership meeting, I would like to share this Performance Data Recorder track video with membership as I believe you will find this video (along with my comments) very interesting.
Lafontaine's Bottomless Toy Chest
HVCC Members joined our wonderful sponsor Lafontaine Chevrolet in Dexter in an effort to bring some holiday cheer to some local children. We collected a truckload of toys for the Bottomless Toy Chest. The program is devoted to delivering empowering toys, craft projects, and interactive activities to hospitalized pediatric oncology patients. Our hope is lift the spirits and promote a positive state of mind in young cancer patients while they are going through treatment.
you for cruising by the Huron Valley Corvette Club website! Our club
was founded in 1965 by a group of Corvette enthusiasts who were
interested in coming together to have fun, share technical information,
tell stories, develop lasting relationships, and support community
Huron Valley Corvette Club promotes pride in ownership of
America's #1 sports car, the Chevrolet Corvette, through car shows,
cruise-ins, education, family events, and civic responsibility.
Our club enjoys a strong presence and great reputation in
the Southern Michigan area. We have members of all ages, professions and
backgrounds. We are dedicated to encouraging and preserving the spirit
of this great American car. And we do this just for the fun of it. We
love to socialize maybe even more than we love our Corvettes.
From that beginning, our club has grown to over 100+
members. Some of the road tours have taken us into GM Headquarters, the
beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota, to Savannah, Georgia and of
course to the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky, in
2019 to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Corvette.
